Military Heritage Museum

Situated in lovely Punta Gorda, the Military Heritage & Aviation Museum depicts the United States in armed conflict, from the Civil War to the present. The diminutive museum includes photographs, uniforms, records and oftentimes visitors will find a veteran docent to give impromptu tours. Many of the artifacts, documents and pictures are from ex-army officers and personnel. Definitely an interesting stop while touring around the quaint district of Fisherman’s Village.
